Choosing Tubal Litigation Reversal

Every year more than 700,000 women undergo tubal litigation in the USA alone, to permanently end their capability to have children. Studies have however shown that within 5 years after these women undergo this process, 6 percent of them decide to have a tubal ligation reversal because they want to have children.

A tubal litigation reversal is a procedure that takes the same day and does not require the woman to stay in the hospital. The latest and quickest procedure is called the da vinci robotic tubal reversal that takes a few hours to complete. The woman can begin the conception process after a 10 days recovery period.

The best results are for women who have undergone a small section removal of the fallopian tubes or decided to have a clip around the tubes rather than a cut. The rings or clips wrapped around the tubes prevent the release of eggs to the fallopian tubes during ovulation where conception takes place. Generally, the tubal reversal is 80 to 90 percent successful to most women who opt for it and are under the age of 40 years. The appropriate time is dictated by the age of the woman and the not how much time has passed since tubal litigation was done.

Chances of success are minimal for women who may have had their tubal litigation at the time of a cesarean section or normal vaginal delivery. This is because a large section of the tubes were removed or burned. The success rate decreases also for women who have had an ablation because of the scars that develop in the uterus – although it’s possible to have your tubes reversed after ablation. If you have fulgurated tubes, it’s important to consult your doctor and know whether you should proceed with the procedure because success rates stand at 50 percent for women with fulgurated tubes.

Diseases that Cause Infertility in Women

female-infertilityThese are diseases or disorders which hinder the ability of a woman to conceive. They may include any of the following:-

Hormonal imbalances as one of the diseases that cause infertility in women

This is one of the disorders which may hinder the process of ovulation thus affecting the fertility of a woman. Hormonal balance is very important if a woman is to conceive hence when there is an imbalance, the whole process is disrupted. This may lead to production of immature eggs by the woman hence not able to complete the whole process of fertilization even if the sperms are present. This disorder is sometimes referred to as anovalation making the ovulation process rare. Other disorders which may result due to hormonal imbalances may include; a malfunctioning pituitary gland and the hypothalamus.

Sexually transmitted diseases

Infections such as syphilis and gonorrhea among others may lead to the inflammation and blockage of the fallopian tube. Other infections such as pelvic inflammatory may lead to the inflammation of the fallopian tube leading to their damage and blockage. The fallopian tubes play a fundamental role when it comes to fertility in women. When blocked or damaged, the fertility of women is also affected greatly.

Scarred ovaries

When there is physical damage to the ovaries, the process of ovulation may also be affected hence damaging fertility in women. Multiple surgeries, invasive surgeries and extensive surgeries to the ovaries may result to scarred ovaries. Ovarian cysts are also another factor which may cause damage to the ovaries leading to failed ovulation. Infections such as sexually transmitted diseases may also cause damage to the ovaries and in the long run the process of ovulation will be damaged leading to infertility in women.

Endometriosis

This is a disorder or condition which is characterized by excess growth of the uterus lining commonly referred to as the endothelium. The woman experiences long, heavy and painful menstrual periods and rectal bleeding.

Ovaries and Blocked Fallopian tubes

Fallopian tubes are an essential part of the female reproductive system. They play the crucial role of leading the mature ovule from the ovaries to the uterus. A fallopian tube is said to be blocked when an obstruction prevents the egg from moving down the tube. It can be blocked partially or completely. The condition can affect one or both of the fallopian tubes. In women, it is a major cause of infertility. This article is going to briefly highlight several key aspects of the condition such as; how it causes infertility, causes of the condition, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment.

Blocked fallopian tubes cause infertility in two ways. First, they prevent the sperm from reaching the ovule. As a result, fertilisation cannot take place and hence the woman is rendered infertile. Secondly, they prevent the egg from reaching the uterus. This is especially common when the fallopian tube is partially blocked and hence the fertilisation can take place. However, because the fertilised egg cannot reach the uterus ,it cannot develop to a full grown foetus.

Pelvic inflammation is the most common cause of the condition. Pelvic inflammation is normally but not always caused by an STD infection. Other potential causes of the condition are; a history of uterine infection, an abdominal surgery history and a history of a ruptured appendix.

The condition has hardly any symptoms. Symptoms of some of the causes of the condition may hint a problem. Pelvis inflammation may cause lower abdominal pain, painful menstruation and painful sexual intercourse. These symptoms may be a sign of blocked fallopian tubes. However, these symptoms do not necessarily indicate the presence of the condition.Normally, blocked fallopian tubes are diagnosed using specialize-rays. The condition may also be diagnosed via ultra sound and exploratory laparoscopic surgery. The condition can be treated using surgery. However, surgery does not always work. The chances of success of the procedure depend on several factors such as; age, extent of the blockage and its location.

Herbs For Blocked Fallopian Tubes

Medicinal-HerbsUse of herbs has been one of the most natural methods to treat various diseases and health conditions. This has resulted to discovery of the various herbs for blocked fallopian tubes being used. Some of the most commonly used herbs are:

  • Echinacea. Initially, the herb was used to treat colds and flu. This is due to its ingredient content which includes caffeic acids, alkylamides and polysaccharide. The ability of the herb to fight infections that can cause fallopian tubes blockage was brought to light back in 2003 where the herbalist argued that it is active against staphylococcal and streptococcal bacteria. It also activates macrophages which is a key component of the human immune system.
  • Goldenseal. The herb, also known as hydrastis Canadensis, is a perennial herb which is commonly found in southern Canada and the United States. It has been approved to be used for blocked fallopian tubes as it contains toning and anti-inflammatory effect on mucus membranes, which lines the inside of the fallopian tubes. It has also been termed as an antibiotic against protozoa, fungi and bacteria. However, you should not use goldenseal during pregnancy as it might cause complications.
  • Usnea. It is normally a combination of an algae and a fungus, lichen, and it is available in all parts of the world. Initially, it was used to treat wounds and infections. But since it contains usnic acid, a potent antimicrobial chemical, which is known to have a great effect against a wide range of bacteria, it has been approved to treat trichoma, staph, chlamydia and strep infections which can cause your fallopian tube(s) to block as a result of infection. Despite its effect, it should not be used by pregnant women.

Before using any type of herb, you should consult a doctor first. This will always ensure that you do not use the wrong herbs and you also get the right dosage.

Increasing the Chances of Fertility with HCG Hormones

Presently there is some proof that HCG hormones do help to increase conception rate. Though this is yet to established within the fertility industry, it has been found to be safer.

How is it possible?

Consider that your body is perfectly fit. And you can get pregnant almost easily. After 11 days of conception your body will start to produce HCG hormone which is known as Human Chorionic Gonadotropin hormone. In fact most pregnancy test depend on this hormone and they consecutively determine whether you have conceived or not. Moreover, this hormone can also determine whether the conception is a miscarriage.

So how exactly does HCG increases fertility?

I am not exactly sure as to how this hcg hormone increases fertility. But there are proofs and statistics about women who have shown signs of pregnancy and in fact have conceived when they have been on HCG diet.

My explanation:

Personally I do not thing that HCG hormones increases fertility. Obviously the hormone is present only in women who have conceived. Therefore, it is highly unlikely for women to conceive with hcg hormone.

The HCG diet first detoxes your body and then goes about in reducing weight. When you are reducing and taking off those extra pounds your body moves forward towards better fitness and agility.

Once your body is fit then it is obvious that the chances of getting pregnant are higher. Therefore, I do not think that it is necessary to undergo HCG diet to get pregnant.

But if you are looking to lose weight and at the same time wishing to get pregnant then I strongly suggest you take over the HCG Diet as it is your best shot.

Warning: Pregnant women should not consume HCG hormones as it will lead in birth defects.
